Please note, due to Coronavirus, school lunch times will be changing from what is detailed below.
The main school doors open at 8:30am, children will need to be in class at 8:45am ready for registration which is indicated by the school bell.
Break time will be 15 minutes between 10:15am - 10:30am, children will need to bring in a healthy snack each day which they will be able to eat in the morning; the snack must be fruit or vegetables.
Lunch will be 1 hour between 12:00 noon- 13:00 eating times will be divided into 4 x 15 minute sessions as follows:
12:00-12:15 Reception & Year 1
12:15-12:30 Year 2 & Year 3
12:30-12:45 Year 4 & Year 5
12:45-13:00 Year 6
Children who are not having hot lunch will need to bring a packed lunch every day. Their lunch box should contain a sandwich (or similar), a drink (non-fizzy), some fruit/yoghurt etc. Janvrin School has been awarded ‘Healthy School’ status and encourages healthy eating. This means that chocolate, crisps, cereal bars etc are not encouraged by the school and we would ask the people who make the lunches to be aware of this please.
Nursery children are provided with snacks by School staff. This facility is funded by contributions from parents/carers. Children who attend Nursery in the morning only, are asked to contribute £3.00 per week. Full time Nursery children are asked to contribute £5.00 per week.
